As founder of Policy Genome, Ihor Samokhodskyi helps public institutions, policy teams and civil society organisations adopt AI in their workflows, and builds AI tools for policy and legal research.
His research on how leading language models respond differently depending on the language has been reviewed by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) and used by EUvsDisinfo (EEAS). In the study ‘Weaponised Algorithms’, he tested six leading language models in English, Ukrainian and Russian. Previously, he led the tech policy sector at Ukraine's Better Regulation Delivery Office, working on AI, data and digital regulation. He brings 13 years of experience in digital governance.
Samokhodskyi is a member of the Lucerne Dialogue Fellows community. At the EEF, he will discuss with fellow panellists in the session ‘Generational Dialogue’ how we can strengthen Europe together.
