During the programme, they
After the base camp, participants remain connected to each other as members of the Fellows Community. In doing so, we also connect the different years and bring them together at the annual Fellows Dinner on the occasion of the European Economic Forum in Lucerne.
Together with the Mercator Foundation Switzerland and the Robert Bosch Stiftung, we organised the 'Impact Workshop Democracy' for the third time at the Basecamp 2025. In a hackathon, participants will develop low-threshold and feasible projects that make an effective contribution to the preservation of democracy in Switzerland and Europe.
The highlight of the programme is the session during the European Economic Forum. Here, the participants present their projects to the audience, especially executives and decision-makers from the business world. The winning project will then be presented on the main stage in front of the entire audience.
At Basecamp 2026, 45 young leaders from across Europe will team up with forward-thinking companies to co-create concrete projects on how business can actively strengthen democracy.
