Daniel Plancic is Head of Vocational Education and Training, Adult Education and Youth Work at Movetia, the national agency for the promotion of (inter)national mobility and cooperation. In his role, he is responsible for promoting mobility and cooperation projects in the field of vocational and adult education and youth work in Switzerland.

He studied history and Slavic studies at the Universities of Bern and Sofia (Bulgaria) and completed a further education programme in business management (CAS) at the University of Zurich.
