Suzanne Lynch is Chief Brussels Correspondent and host of the EU Confidential Podcast at POLITICO Europe. She was born and raised in Ireland.

She worked as a US foreign correspondent and financial journalist for the Irish Times in Washington for over four years before joining POLITICO Europe. From 2013 to 2017, she was based in Brussels as a European correspondent for the Irish Times. In addition to her work as a foreign correspondent, she has gained experience in culture, feature writing and finance and regularly contributes to international television and radio stations such as BBC and CNN.

Suzanne Lynch successfully completed her PhD in English Literature at the prestigious University of Cambridge.
