For nearly two decades, Bruno Giussani shaped the global landscape of ideas as Global Curator and European Director of TED – curating more than a thousand TED Talks and engaging in conversations with leading thinkers who have inspired debates and influenced perspectives around the world.

Today, he focuses on a question at the heart of Europe’s future: How can the continent think and act independently in the digital age? In his new book «Moins d’Amérique dans nos vies» (Less America in Our Lives), Giussani calls for a deliberate disentanglement from US technology platforms – intellectually, economically and technologically.

Drawing on his extensive experience at the intersection of innovation, media and global policy – from his work at the World Economic Forum to his current role as advisor to the Swiss Center for Augmented Intelligence – Giussani explores what self-determination means in the digital era.
