Dan Sobovitz, der sowohl die Staatsbürgerschaften der Schweiz, Israels als auch Ungarns besitzt, ist Geschäftsführer des European Startup Prize for Mobility, Gründer und CEO von spreadable.io. Des Weiteren fungiert er als Senior Berater bei BCW und hat Demo-Crisis.eu ins Leben gerufen, ein Aktionsnetzwerk im zivilgesellschaftlichen Bereich.

Er beschäftigt sich mit einer breiten Palette von Themen im Zusammenhang mit Technologie, EU-Angelegenheiten, Nachhaltigkeit und Menschenrechten.

Dan hat seinen Master of International Affairs and Relations 2009 erfolgreich an der Columbia University abgeschlossen. In der Vergangenheit arbeitete er bereits als Redenschreiber und Stratege für den Exekutivvizepräsidenten der Europäischen Kommission, Maroš Šefčovič, sowie für verschiedene andere EU-Institutionen und internationale Organisationen.

Managing Director, European Startup Prize

Dan Sobovitz, who holds the citizenship of Switzerland, Israel, and Hungary, is the Managing Director of the European Startup Prize for Mobility, founder and CEO of spreadable.io. Furthermore, he serves as a senior advisor at BCW and has launched Demo-Crisis.eu, a civil society action network.

He focuses on a wide range of issues related to technology, EU affairs, sustainability and human rights.

Dan successfully completed his Master of International Affairs and Relations at Columbia University in 2009. In the past, he has worked as a speechwriter and strategist for the Executive Vice President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič, as well as for several other EU institutions and international organizations.
