Fabian Peter ist seit Juli 2019 Regierungsrat des Kantons Luzern und steht dem Bau-, Umwelt- und Wirtschaftsdepartement (BUWD) vor. Zuvor war der FDP-Politiker Unternehmer in der Gebäudetechnikbranche, vier Jahre Mitglied des Luzerner Kantonsrates sowie während fünfzehn Jahren Gemeindeammann von Inwil. Fabian Peter ist gelernter Sanitärinstallateur und Heizungszeichner sowie dipl. HLK Ingenieur FH/MBA. Er ist Vater von zwei Kindern.

Fabian Peter is Governor of Lucerne since July 2019 and is head of the department of economy, infrastructure and environment. Previously the politician was an entrepreneur in the building services engineering industry, a member of the Lucerne Cantonal Council for four years and within fifteen years member of the council of his hometown Inwil. Fabian Peter is a trained sanitary fitter and draftsperson for heating systems and as well he has a diplom as a HVAC Engineer FH/MBA. He is father of two children.
